 Apple-Chipotle Marinade

 

A fabulous flavor for seafood...
 

1 jar 

 

apple butter

 

2 Tbs 

 

lime or lemon curd

 

2 Tbs 

 

balsamic vinegar

 

1 Tbs 

 

olive oil

 

1 Tbs 

 

chipotle sauce

 

1 tsp 

 

minced garlic

Place all ingredients in food processor or blender. Process until marinade is smooth.

Marinate shrimp, tuna or swordfish in a large plastic bag for a couple of hours, turning occasionally.

Grill or broil seafood. While seafood is grilling, heat marinade until bubbly. Brush onto seafood while grilling. Discard marinade.
